WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION

according to Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on whistleblower protection

Methods of reporting

  • The whistleblower is entitled to submit a report to the Ministry of Justice (Vyšehradská 16, 128 10 Prague 2, : 221 997 840, e-mail: oznamovatel@msp.justice.cz, web: https://oznamovatel.justice.cz/chci-podat-oznameni/) and/or to the designated persons through the internal reporting channels established by the obliged entity ŽĎAS, a.s., IČO: 46347160, with its registered office at Strojírenská 675/6, Žďár nad Sázavou 1, 591 01 Žďár nad Sázavou, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Brno under file no. B 766 (hereinafter referred to as the “obliged entity”) orally and/or in writing. If the whistleblower so requests, the designated persons shall be obliged to receive the report personally within a reasonable period of time, but no longer than 14 days.
  • A whistleblower who submits a report in writing may do so:
    • by e-mail (oznameni@ex.zdas.cz), or
    • by dropping it in a mailbox provided by the obliged entity. The mailbox is in the entrance of the building on Strojírenská Street in the room by the ATM and is marked “Oznámení dle zákona č. 171/2023 Sb., o ochraně oznamovatelů (whistleblowing)”.

The obliged entity excludes the acceptance of reports from a person who does not perform work or other similar activities for the obliged entity as referred to in Article 2(3)(a), (b), (h) or (i) of Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the whistleblower protection.
