Components for mining and rock processing
The portfolio of our foundry includes castings that are widely used in the mining industry, cement factories, etc. These are mainly castings:
- Designed for rock mining and related processes, such as various crushers for processing plants of mined materials
- Castings for treatment (crushing) of waste building materials (bricks, concrete – even reinforced), etc.
- For cement plant operations such as rotary kilns and their drives
- For coal mills usually operating near power plants
- For various types of shears for processing steel scrap, or as parts of baling presses (crossbars, plates, support faces, shearing knife carriers, etc.)
Materials
- for the presentation of the product representatives below, we offer low and medium alloy steels, manganese steels, (we assess the applicability of the required material individually for each requirement) or high alloy steels
- another part of our standard material offer is highly alloyed, ferritic, austenitic, duplex, martensitic materials (more than 3500 material brands) Manufactured on electric arc furnaces (EOP), ladle furnace (LF), equipment for deep deoxidation and degassing of steel and vacuum decarburization (VD, VOD), electro-slag remelting (ESR) suitable for the supply of ingots or forgings
- modifications of the chemical composition requested by the customer or other materials can be discussed if the scope of the composition modification is agreed upon and confirmed by our steel plant or metallurgist, or if I confirm the “new” material at the factory
Models
- We can make models according to the design of our technology in wood, polystyrene, or in a combination of materials in maximum dimensions (10,000 x 5,000 x 4,000) mm
- to ensure the production of castings, it is possible to accept customer models, if their condition and the technology of making castings correspond to our technological possibilities and requirements
Production of castings
- of steel as mentioned above, or according to the customer’s specifications, usually in the weight range of 200 to 50,000 kg/casting, provided that the maximum dimensions of the product do not exceed 8,500 x 4,500 x 3,000 mm, which is limited by the size of the annealing furnaces, possibly tempering baths
- all standard heat treatment processes are available
Quality control
- EN ISO 9001, EB ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001
- ISO 17025 accredited laboratory – chemical, metallographic, mechanical, non-destructive testing (MT, PT, UT, X-ray), dimensional control (3D camera)
- Standards used as a standard: ČSN, DIN, EN and ASTM, possibly others, if there is agreement on their use
