Modernization of the heat treatment of forgings at the Forge 2nd phase
👉As part of the 2️⃣. phase of the long-term investment event, two pieces of tempering tanks were delivered and assembled at Kovárná. As part of the excessive load, the oil tank was first moved to the hall, followed by the water tank. The length of the newly delivered tanks is 12m, diameter 4.5m❗. Handling, transport and placement required the professional and meticulous work of the carrier and installers.🚛👷
🔘On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the oil tank was moved from a horizontal stored position to a vertical one using bridge cranes and then placed in the existing caisson sump. It was deepened by approx. 1.6 m during construction.
🔘On Friday, July 26, 2024, a new water softening tank was installed for the same reason.
Assembly and installation work is currently underway to connect the pipelines and put the equipment into operation.
