Signature of the Memorandum of Cooperation on the Implementation of Reconstruction and Construction Projects of Energy Units

On August 16, 2023, an online high-level meeting took place involving the authorized ambassador of the Czech Republic to Ukraine, Radek Matula, between the company ŽĎAS, a.s. and Ukrhydroenergo. The companies were represented by their CEOs, Pavel Cesnek and Ihor Sirota.

Ihor Sirota expressed gratitude to the Czech people for their support of Ukrainians abroad. He stated that significant damage was inflicted on the infrastructure during the war, and the country will need assistance to overcome its critical energy situation.

In conclusion of the meeting, based on long-term discussions between the companies, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the primary objective of developing Ukraine’s fuel and energy complex.
