Visit of the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China
On March 12, 2024, we welcomed a delegation from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China headed by Ambassador Mr. Feng Biao to our plant. He was accompanied by a large group of representatives of our parent company CITIC Europe Holdings led by Mr. Li Wenliang.
After welcoming the visitor, CEO Pavel Cesnek presented and comprehensively presented our company. They discussed the overview of business at ŽĎAS, a.s., employee management and daily operations, the discussion touched on economic topics, results and outlook for the future, the emphasized topic of work safety and cooperation with other companies of the CITIC group was also mentioned.
After that, our guests went on a tour of the facilities. At the Metallurgy division, the guests viewed the ESR workplace, the Molding Plant, the Refinery, the Grinding Plant, the Forge and the Modeling Plant. Next, they moved to the Machinery division, where they were interested in new investments – CNC machining centers, they visited Assembly, where they saw CNS400 shears and CPS320 and CPB100 packing presses. During the site visits, specific topics and questions from our guests were discussed. The visit ended with a joint lunch in the lounge of the main dining room.
Mr. Ambassador appreciated the active work of the shareholder and management on the future of the company.
