Co-operation with Westinghouse

On September 13, 2022, the vice chairman of the board and the general director of the joint-stock company ŽĎAS, a.s. Pavel Cesnek and the vice president of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, Mr. Michael Coon, signed a cooperation agreement.
The ceremony, with the participation of leading Czech companies, took place at the American Embassy in Prague. The general contract includes wider cooperation across all divisions of our company. These are supplies for current and future Westinghouse projects. Among others, the company participates in the tender for the completion of the new unit of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant. As part of the signing ceremony, there was also a detailed meeting with representatives of Westinghouse USA and Westinghouse ČR, where the production program was presented and the possibilities of cooperation between our companies in current and future projects were discussed.
